I’m Louise, mum to Callum, 19, Jessica 10 and Emily who’s 7 and wife to Andrew.

I stated blogging whilst training to be a Journalist, and began by sharing our families journey as we set off on the path of receiving an autism diagnosis for Jessica.

I’m an advocate for mental health issues, having talked openly in my blog, on the radio and the local press about my experiences of living with and overcoming PND, Depression and anxiety in hope of helping others who can relate. I’ve also worked on national campaigns to help end the loneliness and isolation commonly experienced between new mums.

Moving forward I decided news reporting side of journalism wasn’t for me, preferring writing features for various magazines, copy for businesses and reviews particularly Entertainment and Theatre.

I had my work published in ‘The Unofficial Guide to Surviving Pregnancy’ and currently writing my second peace to feature in the next book of the series, sharing my experience of being a mum of a teen. As well as articles published in the Mighty, Today’s Child and Thrive Global and the local press.

My writing/blogging is my passion, often my therapy and my way of documenting our life as a family of 5.
